 Who are we?

We are a community of Christians which meet in Harrisburg to celebrate the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Although we have come from various backgrounds, we are united by our belief in God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, the Holy Spirit and the teachings of the Bible as presently understood by the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist Church. We are committed to uplifting our Lord through our corporate worship and our personal lifestyles. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we seek to reach Jesus' ideal of a caring, forgiving, affirming community through which the world can recognize that He lives. We are committed to serving Greater Harrisburg and sharing boldly the good news of Jesus' atoning death and His soon return. The purpose of this proclamation is to help all accept the Lord and prepare for His imminent return. Thus, all of the church's activities, whether directly or indirectly, are carefully planned and organized for that one and only purpose.

OUR VISION
(What we want to be)

OUR MISSION
(How we will get there)

To be a light on the hill that fulfills Christ’s great commission of His Three Angels’ messages (Rev 14) within our Harrisburg First Seventh-day Adventist Church, its community, and its global mission

The Harrisburg First Seventh-day Adventist Church, through the Holy Spirit, desires to empower its ministry through:

  • Christ-centered worship
  • Commitment to service
  • Training and education

In order to share God’s love and to finish His work on earth.
